剧情介绍
丹尼（梅尔·耐多 Mel Raido 饰）刚刚和妻子安吉拉（玛辛·佩克 Maxine Peake 饰）离了婚，带着两个年纪尚小的女儿，这个落魄的男人不知该何去何从。在一家夜总会买醉的丹尼目睹了一场斗殴，长时间来的不顺和屈辱一下子爆发出来，他决定阻止这场不公平的打斗。丹尼的行为被夜总会保镖刘易斯（科林·萨尔蒙 Colin Salmon 饰）看在了眼里，这个男人小小的身体里迸发出来的力量让他感到震惊，他决定好好培养丹尼。 就这样，丹尼成为了一名保镖，跟着刘易斯混。刘易斯不仅教会了丹尼正确使用拳头的方法，还成为了他的保护人。作为一名保镖，丹尼干得不错，在找回自信的同时，丹尼的生活也获得了希望。Danny - a lonely factory worker, intimidated by life - is battered and humiliated in front of his kids in a random act of violence. His already bleak existence sinks further into the abyss. On the verge of total breakdown he decides to fight back. He meets a group of night-club doormen who take him in and give him the confidence to stand his ground. As he is drawn deeper into their world he becomes embroiled with the local gangland boss, setting in motion a chain of events with shockingly brutal consequences.
